Trey Finney

Trey Finney was born and raised in South Carolina where he attended the College of Charleston from 1981-1983, when he transferred to Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida until he graduated in 1987. In 1989 he was hired by Walt Disney Feature Animation and spent the last thirteen years working at the Florida studio in Lake Buena Vista. While at Feature Animation Florida, he received credit on numerous Disney animated films including: Roller Coaster Rabbit, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Off his Rockers, Trail Mix Up, The Lion King, Pocahontas, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mulan, Lilo and Stitch and Brother Bear. Finney has just retired from Disney to devote his time fully to painting. He states "I am free to pursue my passion for painting without the hectic schedule of the last few years. Using an impressionistic style allows me total freedom, resulting in a very relaxed application while trying to capture what I see!"
