Kyle Highsmith

Kyle Highsmith was born in Greenville, NC, and received a B.S. degree from N.C. State University's College of Design. He quickly put down his architect pencil and has been devoted to painting full time for over twenty-five years. Kyle paints en plein air, traveling throughout Europe and the United States. His use of vivid color results in bold canvases that express energy and joy for life. His work is in the permanent collections of the North Carolina Museum of Art and the Greenville Museum of Art.
