Katherine and William Bernstein
Katherine and William Bernstein together form an impressive pair. Both husband and wife studied at the Philadelphia College of Art and the Penland School of Crafts. Katherine has been in many exhibitions all over the world, and has collectors that range from the Asheville Art Museum to the Smithsonian Institution and beyond. She has been publicized in such magazines as American Craft and Arts Journal. William has taught at schools on both coasts including the Penland School of Crafts, the Pilchuck Glass Center and the University of Southern California. He has received numerous grants and has been shown all over the United States, Asia and Europe, including Russia, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Together, these two renowned artists form Bernstein Glass. They work in tandem to create whimsical glass goblets, tumblers, and pitchers. Coming in a variety of playful and colorful designs, the most popular feature human faces or puppy dogs!
