Karen has been chasing the glow from the day she started painting. She's still in awe of that momentary light that happens at the beginning of the day and the end of the day. She says, "It's light that makes ordinary objects seem magical." Karen is one of the founding members of The Plein Air Painters Association of Charleston, an artist colony dedicated to the continuation of the traditional method of the impressionistic painting style as performed out-of-doors. Her work hangs in private collections across the USA, in the UK, and Asia.
